Given as the home page for todays giveaway is listed under Mac products!
And only has download for Mac not Windows.

There apparently is NO Windows version on offer on their site for todays giveaway and certainly not sold this is an unanounced pre-release alpha build.

Like almost ALL video converters produced out of the blue it is just a closed source GUI to a pirated binary distribution of GPLv3 in this case FFMPEG.EXE

results of the bundled but uncredited FFMPEG.EXE -L command presnts the amongst the text:

“ffmpeg is free software; you can redistribute it and/or modify
it under the terms of the GNU General Public License as published by
the Free Software Foundation; either version 3 of the License, or
(at your option) any later version.

ffmpeg is distributed in the hope that it will be useful,
but WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY; without even the implied warranty of
MERCHANTABILITY or FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. See the
GNU General Public License for more details.

You should have received a copy of the GNU General Public License
along with ffmpeg. If not, see .”

This product like so many of these unlicensed FFMPEG closed source fail to credit the use of FFMPEG to do ALL the compression and other video or audio processing and pretend the entire suite of programs is the work of the presenting developers and illegally claim copyrights for it all for themselves.

The level of control of compression offered by this GUI is very poor compared to legitimate FFMPEG based converters like handbrake.

This developer proves their lack of understanding of how Windows programs should be deployed by installing programs into a subfolder of the users Documents hierarchy! After installing this you will find the pirated unprotected FFMPEG.EXE in the Documents sub folder “Batch Video CompreXor\ffmpeg\ It is a very dangerous place to put part of a suite of programs mainly because it is not secure against non-elevated processor modification and as it is not digitally signed the operating system has no way to check its integrity and confirm no malicious actor has infected it or replaced it with malicious executable of the same name
