This developer steals the intellectual property of the developers of FFMPEG by illegally redistributing a non-redistributable build of teh FFMPEG binaries in the resource\DLL folder. They use the nonfree compile time switch:
“-ldflags=-L/extlib/lib –enable-libmp3lame –enable-libtheora –enable-libvorbis –enable-gpl –enable-libx264 –enable-libxvid –enable-libfaad –enable-nonfree –enable-libfaac”
the license detail embeded in the files state:
“libavcodec license: nonfree and unredistributable”
This product uses only a tiny subset of the codecs contained within FFMPEG and almost certainly could be recompiled with –enable-lgpl –enable-version3 and it could still produce the required formats and become legal to redistribute provided Thundersoft gave FFMPEG proper credit and included a copy of the LGPLv3 license and stopped trying to claim ownership of the open source project by pretending in their EULA they own the rights to everything when they do not. This theft of Intellectual Property that is so common with Chinese business is a big part of the justification Donald Trump used to wage his personal trade war with China
