  1. net-load.com staff does not check links posted by users in the comment section, so take care and double check everything.
  2. System requirements on the giveawayoftheday.com offering state:
    “System Requirements:

    Windows NT/ 98/ Me/ 2000/ XP/ 2003/ Vista/ Server 2008/ 7/ 8/ 8.1”

BUT the provided setup.exe is linked to require Windows NT 6.1 or above and in earlier versions of Windows the operating system reports it is not a valid win32 application. That means it will not install under ANY version of Windows lower than Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2. There is no way on earth the supplied installer will run under the majority of versions of windows listed in the published system requirements!

Max AVI resolution supported is 720×576 most modern machines will not have many supported codecs installed as the codec API used (Video For Windows) is a legacy API almost depreciated in Windows 10.

Because Video for Windows API is used there is a limit to the maximum video file size creation of 2GBytes by default. VFW encoding is also single threaded in nature so will only use a maximum of a single CPU core and the encoding process is fragile with certain undocumented input image dimensions causing the encoding process to fail and it will require trial and error to determine which photo caused the encoding error. There is a variation on the ken burns effect that can be enabled by using the “Enable dynamic pictures” option. There is also an option to create a stop-frame based animation video rather than slideshow by pressing Expert button and then each photo makes one frame encoded at the integer frame rate selected. fractional frame rate selection is not possible.

The installed program is linked to be loadable in Windows NT 4.0 and above so should work in Windows NT 4.0 and above including Windows 2000, XP, Vista, Sever 2003 and 2008 as well as those mentioned above but you will not be able to install it under those versions of windows because the installer is built for the wrong versions of Windows. Neither the setup or main program can possibly run under Windows 98 or Windows ME of course.

It only supports BMP and JPG images/photos, no RAW or PNG or TIF. Just copied over the installation folder from windows 10 system to Vista system and it runs and registers under Vista with details provided. Activation does require an active outbound internet connection and must use the Name: provided in the readme.txt it will not work if you use your own name.
Those that have a problem activating the license with the license data provided don’t be dismayed, there is no functional difference between the free and paid license, save a nag screen in the always free licensed version.

Sound track added can only be encoded to mp3 format and there is no setting control for the mp3 stream since it does not appear to re-encode the stream but just interleaves the mp3 stream as is with the video and if there is any disparity between the duration of the mp3 and the video produced no editing is provided so you’d need to edit the soundtrack mp3 file to be the length of the slideshow or animation after doing a trial encode without a soundtrack in order to have both soundtrack and video to start and end together.
