SoftOrbits Photo Stamp Remover version 17 incorporates artificial intelligence (AI) technology to improve the detection and removal of watermarks, text, and other unwanted objects from images.
The AI features include:
AI Watermark Detection: The software uses an AI model specifically trained to automatically detect complex watermarks, text, and logos, including those that are semi-transparent or rotated.
Generative Fill (Inpainting): Instead of simply copying nearby pixels to fill the gap left by the removed object (which can leave blurs or artifacts), a specialized AI model is used to generate new, realistic background details that blend naturally with the surrounding image.
Automated and Manual Modes: The AI allows for one-click, automatic removal, as well as a “smart AI brush” for manual selection of specific areas for more advanced control.
Batch Processing: The AI automation extends to batch mode, allowing users to automatically process large quantities of images at once.
Versatile Removal: Beyond watermarks, the AI helps in seamlessly removing date stamps, people, wires, or other distracting elements, even restoring facial details if a watermark overlaps a person's face.
Oh great the description above has been copied and pasted from a version 17 giveaway of the product… of course this has the same badware practices of forcing the installation into an insecure location on the system drive (AppData hierarchy) where the files can be modified by ANY process even non-elevated processes and clogs up the system drive with their installation with no option to put it in a securer location like C:\Program Files\ because they believe computer owners should not be able to control what programs are installed on their systems and where they are installed and feel unauthorised limited user accounts should have the right to bypass the rules they are using the computer and install SoftOrbits programs without authorisation and in an insecure location stripping windows of valuable security layers.
