One last thing which makes no sense and is no way fair, the AI in this is purely local in nature and uses no online resources once the AI models are downloaded to the local machine… there is an 800 minute per month restriction on the use of AI subtitle operations. This would make sense if the vendor supplied the AI engine in the cloud and had to pay for it themselves but WE pay for the hardware, electricity and cooling so why the punitive restriction on AI use that’s only allowing 800 mins of video processing including experimenting to determine which model provides the best subtitles. And the auto generate subtitles on no subtitle generation can waste AI time if the perfect desired option is not the default setting…
AISubtitle in the bundled media player using ultra model AI only uses the CPU neither of my GPU’s are touched! No indication of license duration once the license is activated funnily enough the realtime model correctly figures out the video is just music with no voices or speech but the ultra “thinks” the phrase “The End of the Day” is repeated throughout the music! The ONLY AI in use is related to subtitling video files and summarising the subtitles on a video using online large language model AI chat engines. I don’t see any start menu shortcuts with this so one has to navigate to the install folder and create a shortcut and put it where you want… if you declined the installer option to create a desktop icon. Crazy developers seem to do work on AI engines but cannot create a properly functioning installer script!
the lack of start menu is experienced when you disable desktop short cut option because the developer has incorrectly labelled the start menu item as task desktopicon so deselecting desktop shortcut has the side efect of disabling the incorrectly start menu item….

probably a 1 year license as was in all other recent giveaways of this… the exe is a downloader, not the installer. I advise letting the downloader download the real installer to the folder you launched the downloaders exe from and cancel the installation once it starts installing because there are extra settings on the real installer that force you to do undesirable things like join their telemetry customer experience improvement program or create desktop shortcut etc
The real installer will be called videflow_trial_easeus.exe and you can confirm it’s been downloaded completely by checking the digital signature.
Note the installer is a 32bit installer and DOES NOT CHECK you are installing it onto a 64bit edition of windows… yes this dumb installer will install a 64bit application on a 32bit windows system that is completely incompatible version of windows, no version check no bit width testing… They also pirate distribute and abuse FFMPEG binaries without giving the original developers any credit like normal Chinese Intellectual Property thieves.
the program and installer dial home MANY times and there are signs the program uses google APIs so expect forced statistical data harvesting by this program.
