Does not know authoritatively if there are really any newer drivers since it only finds out about drivers by the drivers the users that run the program have installed, it cannot tell if the higher version number drivers are legitimate or private self signed hacked drivers, if they came from windows update or the machines OEM or the chip makers which is why it never links you to an actual driver file as it has no clue where the drivers are sourced! Really it invades users privacy in the context that it does not inform the end user at any point that they harvest installed device and driver version data and assign each installation with a unique numeric identifier that ties those device VEN DEV and driver version data values to a given user.

I have used SUMo and DUMo. The DUMo user interface is spartan. The tool is easy to use. It’s not a bad tool. There are alternatives that are more polished, especially that automatically download for you.
However, if you’re looking for a reasonably priced tool with free lifetime upgrades, it’s certainly worth considering. The developer is friendly and helpful.
SUMo is also worth considering. It is certainly one of the most comprehensive software updaters based on the number of programs it recognises … and I’ve tried many, including IOBIT, Glary, Patch My PC, Heimdall, FileHippo and AdLice (probably more).
