Heres a tip for you TK. If you want to get the full unrestricted lifetime License BUY IT! Rather than being a true sponge on society.
extended trials are not giveaways, vendors that offer extended trials do not gain an otherwise unpaid word of mouth marketing team… then get only a possible few customers who participated in their extended trial giveaway. If I wanted to trial their product I’d just download their trial any time, these are supposed to be giveaways that serve multiple purposes, free bug reporting, free exposure, in fact in some sites cases it’s not just free exposure it ad-revenue paid exposure where the giveaway site and the participating vendor share the ad-revenue generated by the site. If they “just don’t bother” net-load.com loses ad-revenue and affiliates earnings… None of them do give this stuff away for free, they all get paid one way or another! I just don’t like being shortchanged in the deal! Lifetime licenses with no updates are cheapest to giveaway as they leave no financial obligation on the vendor, and it’s not like anyone would have bout the product without the giveaways anyway. Most of these giveaways are from Chinese bedroom developers hoping to get away with producing closed source commercial products out of GPL or other open source projects without crediting the open soure product or complying in any way with their licenses… ALL the video converters, editors, enhancers, capturers nowadays are just illegal closed source GUI’s illegally redistributing either unlicensed GPL or compiled in non-free component FFMPEG binaries. AOMEI is not quite that bad but there is nothing wrong with lamenting over better more honest times IMHO. PS never seen either of you two inform others the license duration of offerings so people can make informed choice…
gone are the days when AOMEI offer lifetime licenses in giveaways, you only learn that they are just 1 year expiring licenses in the zip enclosed text file with the license key… no warning before you download… waste of time!
